賽事介紹 : Barclays MoonTrekker features two trek distances, the Moonlit 27km and the Sunrise 40km. Both races begin on Friday night on the 25th October, 2013, in Mui Wo, on Lantau Island. Both routes finish at the same point (Cheung Sha Beach). The Sunrise 40 starts 2 hours before the Moonlit 27, at 9.00pm.
In 2012 we extended the finish-line to take participants down to Palm Beach, on Cheung Sha Beach. Here you will have access to drinks, snacks, showers and changing rooms. Dedicated buses will take you back to Tung Chung MTR station until the regular bus service begins.
Barclays MoonTrekker is Hong Kong's leading night hiking/running event that delivers a fantastic experience and raises money for it's nominated charity. Our unique model requires participants to follow a two step registration process. Firstly, participants must register and pay their entry fee to secure their place in the race, once this is done, they are required to raise a minimum sponsorship amount ($650pp) from donations which will be collected by our nominated charity directly at the race-pack collection taking place on the 28th September at Shore Bar, The L Place, 139 Queens Road Central between 10am and 5pm.
