本屆比賽在香港號稱60年最冷的一天起跑.一開始就狂風不斷.某些路段的強風甚至令人寸步難行,加上低溫.到晚上後山區開始結冰,一不小心就跌到四腳朝天.在此天後下終於演變成帶災難色彩的比賽.我也被低溫搞的失溫的狀況.後面20公里,邊走邊抖,不敢停下來.怕一停下來就會失溫.好不容易到達終點,趕快躲進帳篷內.大家都坐在地上發抖.大會接送巴士也因為蜂湧上山賞雪人潮而大塞車.快天亮才好不容易搭上巴士離開.這時還有很多參賽者被困在山上.大會臨時停止比賽.會同軍警上山搜救.雖然有很多人送醫.但還好人都救出來.這真是一場難得經驗的比賽.
賽後評分: 五星級賽事.是我參加過比賽補給最充份.設備及志工人數最多.難怪可以吸引千名各國好手參加比賽
